GET A SECOND OPINION I took my Mustang in because of a rattle I wanted diagnosed and repaired. I was charged over $200 just for the diagnosis and was told that I had a broken sway bar and control arm that both needed to be replaced. I was quoted close to $3,000 for the repairs. The price seemed excessive, so I purchased the parts myself for about $225 and took the car to a trusted family mechanic.
