An exploitative and rude bully. An accident on the road coupled with my mum being unable to navigate the entrance, stumbling 3 times, meant we were a few minutes late to see Dr Innis. We weren’t panicking as we always wait 30 minutes plus past our appointment time to see her and we were only a few minutes late. Dr Innis needs to hire better reception staff. I called a week prior to my Dad's appointment to cancel as my Dad has now been placed in a Home. However, we were STILL sent a $110 no show fee when we clearly said "please cancel as Dad cannot attend as he has been placed in a home and we will call back should we be ready to make another appointment but at this stage, cancel" Absolutely disgusting on Dr Innis' end to still send a fee when your Dad has been placed in a home and Dr Innis' rooms already notified of this.
Amazing
Alicia Innis, geriatric specialist, was rude and completely unsympathetic towards my elderly relative. Sly comments were made underneath her breath directed towards them without any disregard. As a result of her unprofessional behaviour we will be seeking a second opinion from a different practitioner. Would not recommend.
Thank you Dr Innis for looking after my father. Following a recommendation from multiple health professionals that you are a leader in Geriatrics in Adelaide you looked after my fathers condition expertly. Your sensitivity to his cultural needs and language barrier was exemplary and both he and my mother cannot thank you enough. You were patient and took the time to explain in simple terms what is going on. Thank you again for your attention.
