Most massage places around town are not focused on the history of the client and what has brought them in. They ask you two or three questions and then massage you. Byrd's practice is entirely the opposite. She'll have a conversation with you before you even begin. Ask you about your moods, where you hurt, what's the history of that pain, etc. She keeps notes and will refer to them when you're back for another round. I love Byrd! She was our birth doula and I got prenatal massage with her, and continue to see her For massage when time allows! She’s such a warm caring presence and her massage is intuitive but she also absolutely listens to what you want! Definitely recommend her!
