Dr. Desai is a very good physician. She is efficient and skilled. She may come across as cold and blunt, but I appreciate that. She is there to treat me, not to placate me or cater to me. I've never had an issue with her team or with their policies. Not sure why others didn't like her and her team. I've been seeing Desai for at least 5 years.
After being referred to her, I contacted the office, told the office staff why I was scheduling the appointment, completed 18 pages of information, including 3 years of past bloodwork (two weeks prior to my appointment), took off a half day from work, since the dr only sees new patients at a certain time, only to be told 5 minutes after my scheduled appointment that Dr. Desai doesn't treat my condition, even though my condition falls under the realm of endocrinology. Made an appointment had to fill out 30 pages of info, they told me they can’t help me the day of my appointment. Not efficient at all!!!!
I am currently a patient here and will no longer be after this situation. I have a DOT for my job and I need a paper filled out on why she prescribed me a medication. dr desai is refusing to fill out the paperwork which is now affecting my job. Worst dr to have do not recommend.
Dr. Desai has been my doctor for years and has always listened to my concerns and talked me thru all procedures.
