Very thoughtful and well balanced dishes! I had the set menu and it was a generous portion and all great. Excellent variety and combination. Cute restaurant- clean, themed, and casual while feeling themed. Fun variety of trinkets. Servers chat amongst themselves - I thought it added to a friendly feel and did not impact quality of service at all. In fact, our waiter called over a different member of the staff to share more information about a specific question we had about drinks.
Was craving sushi tonight and this place did not disappoint. The $50 set menu, felt like good value and came out efficiently. Staff were all very attentive. Sushi tasted fresh and delicious. Thank you 😊
Good quality sushi and yakitori! Ordered takeaway, everything was well-packed, and indeed the food traveled well (about a half hour drive). I was pleased by the freshness of the fish and the char-grilled flavor of the yakitori--this is definitely a solid option for Japanese food in the area. The staff was also quite friendly, which is always lovely.
‼️I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but this experience was bad enough that I feel compelled to share. Food: I ordered sushi, and it was genuinely terrible. The rice was extremely hard and had an unpleasant taste, and the fish did not taste fresh at all. Easily some of the worst sushi I’ve had. Service: Despite there being only two other tables, service was very slow. It reached a point where we were left unattended and had to go up to the staff ourselves to ask for the check.
