Food poisoning. I ordered takeout, specifically the spicy tuna maki and the tempura maki, and got food poisoning (according to the doc) not even an hour later. Threw it all up. I used to love this place.
(Reposting this because the owner has responded to every review besides this) Very sad because I order from here constantly but while eating my spicy tuna maki I bit into something hard. This piece of plastic was inside the roll. Couldn’t finish afterwards. Disappointed to say the least
I was nervous about trying to eat gluten free here after reading other reviews, but I had a good experience and didn't get sick. The manager told me I was safer to get the cold sushi and that the fryer is shared, so avoid anything fried. Got philly, avo, and sweet potato rolls and they were excellent. The chef made the sweet potato rolls gluten free by not frying them. Server was also very knowledgeable and helped keep me safe.
