Supporting black businesses is hard- I was at Fufu Catering to buy some meat to eat with my Eba and ewedu. I asked the lady at the counter to put 3 pieces of meat and stew..she then asked if she should put the stew in another bowl and I said that's not necessary cause it's a waste of plastic containers..just put the stew in the bowl with the meat. This place is a gem. On a Tuesday afternoon, we entered a rather empty store, with only one server in sight. This is the friendliest guy ever! We told him that it’s our first time trying fufu, and he gave us an explanation of how it works. There is a big variety of food, and he let us try some before ordering. Everything tastes good, very difficult to choose from! We got one fufu with egusi soup, and one with spinach. More than a taste of home! I haven’t had a Nigerian meal this good and this authentic since being here. Definitely worth checking out!
