Dr. Elkhoury provided exceptional care to me during a very painful bout with multiple kidney stones. He listened to my concerns and gave me great advice on the care choices available to me. My surgery was successful with an easy recovery. I highly recommend his services.
As expected, I had a few concerns about this procedure but it went off as advised. Critically, recovery milestones were met. Huge. All improvements to prostate/bladder function were met. I could drive for hours up highway 5 without fear of emergency roadside stops to relieve myself. All in all a big positive experience.
I felt in perfect hands with Dr. Elkhoury. I can highly recommend him.
When my PSA test results suddenly shot up, Dr. Elkhoury demonstrated what is to me the most important quality in a medical-care provider: He listened to me as an individual. Then he directed me to followup services that quickly identified my prostate cancer and mapped a successful course of treatment. I recommend Dr. Elkhoury without reservation.
The doctor is not at all compassionate or patient friendly. He seems only interested in operative choices. The office staff is tremendously unorganized not answering emails or following up phone calls. This has been my first bad experience at a UCLA doctors office since I joined their healthcare system over a year ago.
