We have not visited this location in 2 years, but while in town tonight we ordered 2 chicken and broccoli's and 2 shrimp fried rice's. The owner (whom I remembered from prior visits) took our orders. I specifically requested no MSG in our food and the owner stated that he could not take the MSG out. Further he stated it was in all of his foods, especially foods with sauces. Best Chinese in Raleigh! – I have had a lot of cheap Chinese, but this restaurant is the best. The food is always well prepared, and Mike (the owner) makes the best Singapore Noodles I've ever had. Definitely great food.
UGG!! Never again! – The chinese food here USED to be very good - but lately in the past year, the food quality has steadily gone downhill. When I would get the Moo Goo Gai Pan, the chicken smelled EXTREMELY bad, like it was rotten or something. The last time I got it, the chciken didn't smell bad because there was NO CHICKEN IN IT!!! Go Somewhere Else – I admit I have high standards, but this place was really really really bad.
Excellent Chinese Food – They're quick and it's always been good so far. Always tastes fresh, meat is good. I'm not sure what that one guy is talking about!!! The chicken at least has always seemed of great quality and everything's been very tasty. I usually don't get anything other than the staple items, so I couldn't tell you about some dishes, but the General Tso's I'd venture to say is AMAZING (for take out standrds).
Disappointing Chinese – The moo goo gai pan (chicken and brocoli dish) was disappointing. The brocoli was soggy and overcooked. But the worst part was the chicken. I have never seen such low quality meat anywhere. Had to be thrown out.
Fu Kee Express - Loves It!!! – Best takeout in the area. They are no longer offering delivery service but that does not stop me. Always fresh and the people are always friendly. I always ask for extra spicy...oh so good! I highly reccomed Fu Kee Express! YUMM YUMM!
