I had a Unico system for 20+ years that needed to be replaced. I contracted with F.T. Young in 2020 for a new system. The new system did not work for over 4 years. Multiple false diagnosis, service was very slow and very bad. Unknown to me F.T. Young removed the existing drip pan and condensate drain resulting in significant water damage below the attic. We called FT Young after noticing darker smoke leaving our chimney and a strong smell. A tech came out ran some tests and advised another tech would out the following day with additional equipment. Hector came out, discussed the smoke he noticed outside, tested the fumes and advised we need some additional cleaning. Hector returned Saturday a.m. and completed a thorough cleaning of the boiler. this is a mess job and Hector did an amazing job cleaning up.
