Terrible bedside manner Doesn't explain Did my surgery then follow up surgery then tells me initial surgery didn't stick and need to repeat as my retina is still detached after 6 months under his care
Had an epiretinal membrane on my left macula which was severely warping and obscuring the vision in that eye. Dr. Finnen removed this 2 months ago; surgery was quick and painless, with minimal discomfort afterward. I've since recovered quite a lot of usable vision in that eye, mostly in the close up range (e.g. now I can actually read a book with the unaided left eye whereas before I couldn't even see the words on a page while wearing glasses; just the paleness of the paper with some faint grey blurs across it). Nothing but excellent rating. Very thorough and all attending staff are wonderful. Dr. Finnen knows his stuff!
Dr. Finnen is amazing! He is very knowledgeable, friendly and gives you honest and truthful perspectives on your eye health. He is the second specialist I've been to for my retina issues and I am so thankful I ended up with him as my doctor! I 100% recommend seeing Dr. Finnen and his staff.
