Filled out the on-line triage form Tuesday at 8.03am.....checked medical records pm, to discover I had no appointment. I rang up, waited 1hr and 12 minutes for an answer and was told I would be put in next day. Next day checked medical records again.....NO appointment. So I rang up, waited 47 minutes (which is good for this surgery,) for an answer, arranged an appointment with Stella for after 3pm. Very rude and unprofessional staff. My worst experience as a patient was at this GP Surgery in Basildon. Over a week and still awaiting a simple referral to an orthopaedic to be sent over. I am a registered mental health nurse. From my experiences, the level of care provided at this surgery is well below what it should be. The GP practice will be asked in Court to pay compensation for the delay to my treatment.
Reception staff has always been helpful. Big improvement with new appointment booking system. Special thanks to Dr Odutola. He is always very polite, caring for people and easy to deal with.
