First of all they lie to you about how nice this place is it is a dump. They have one good cook and he works two or three times a week other than that you're eating crap. They have no board game meetings every hour or anything to pass the time. The staff I respect and think 200%. That's not their fault it's the powers that be. While no one anticipates writing a review of their unplanned hospital visit (particularly when they were out of town and had the misfortune of falling down stairs at a local Airbnb) it’s a joy for me to commend Fry Regional Hospital (Hickory, NC) and specifically the in-house rehabilitation floor where l spent a week. A broken rib, lumbar vertebrae injury with abdominal contusions created a painful scenario, initially treated by the hospital then later by the highly regarded Fry Hospital Inpatient Rehabilitation Center.
