I really like the onion blossom here, but unfortunately every time I’ve tried to order it over roughly the past five months, it’s been unavailable. If you’re going specifically for that item, I’d recommend calling ahead first. The fish itself is good but small portion, the onion blossom is usually the main reason I come.
Has been my favourite fish and chips in the city! Went there Sept 2026 after not visiting since 2025 and the halibut was noticeably smaller than it used to be. Thinner piece and smaller square. Still tasted amazing..and .everything else was great.
Ordered appetizer ... came with dinner. Wasn't quite done eating and was presented with debit machine in mid chew. Place wasn't busy didn't see the rush. Food was as expected for deep fried fish dinner .. calamari was thin and poorly coated to where it was falling apart. Not bad overall. Won't rush back though.
Great food, clean restaurant. Low key
The first time we went it was dine-in and was absolutely amazing, fish sandwich and fries were on point.. Today we ordered the same thing but take out, the fries were hard like they had been there for hours and the bun for my sandwich was as well truly disappointing, as I was hoping for the same experience as the first but unfortunately was not the case. I really hope this was just a one off experience. I do love to support local establishments and a great fish sandwich. Fish was still good..
