History Established in 1965. The Frostop was founded in 1965 by Leland Garner. He built an addition two years later. He sold it in 1973 to Jerald Crittenden from Ashton and two men from St.Anthony. They called it Mug Jugs. Then in 1974 Andre Bollaerts from Redondo Beach, California bought it and sold it to George Nedrow and associates, who ran the business until David and Ray Lalonde purchased it in 1975 and it became Frostop once again, with the Frostop franchise being retained. There was an older lady servicer that was extremely rude. Horrible customer service. She ruined the entire experience. I felt so bad for the younger servers. Food was good, sad we couldn’t enjoy it.
One of the waitresses was extremely rude. She yelled at us as we walked to the table to join our family members who had already sat down, apparently because we were “in the way.” Then continued to yell at our kids if they even stood next to our table. While we were eating, we witnessed the same lady yelling at nearly every group that arrived. No customers seemed to know what to do upon entering. I can’t even explain how bad the service staff is here. WOWWW! It’s almost comical how aggressive, narcissistic, and inconsiderate one of the servers were. She was probably 45ish? Not sure, but she acted very unprofessional and rude. She yelled at a family saying, “get back in your car if you want to be served!” and neglected taking orders from family’s who had kids telling them to “get out of her walkway”… It was almost comical how awful she was. The customer service here was unbelievably horrible. The “old lady” (mid 40s early 50s, black/brown hair) waiter was a piece of work. You can tell she probably has no background with any sort of customer service and was treating every table/customer like a chore. She made the entire atmosphere so uncomfortable. If you have kids especially….DO NOT COME HERE! She yelled at a group of young moms because their kid’s stood up to use the restroom and “got in her way”.
