Frost is Privately owned and you can tell by the service. At the William cannon branch they go the extra mile to help clients and customers. They are able to help out and do things Banks governed by the federal government ( Big Banks ) are not capable of doing or would even do. For example taking out a CD secured loan BofA laughed and said nobody does that anymore, Wells Fargo said they can’t/wont do it. Have had many accounts at Frost over the years. Have always had a good experience with this branch.
Definitely look at the reviews before banking at Frost. The customer service at the William Cannon location is poor to say the least!! I walked in and wasn't acknowledged by any of the tellers. Meanwhile, they're sitting at the desk talking about their pets! Very strange vibe in that building. My teller seemed as though she was on a stimulant of some sort.
