Very unprofessional practice. It takes weeks to get results. Having this type of service available in a town’s important, but the small town mentality of poor customer service and questionable practices makes me prefer travelling to Calgary over going to this location.
I was seen at Strathmore ER. They wanted to send me to Peter Laugheed for ultrasound. I told them I have to depend on other people to drive me. Why can't I have it done here. I made an appointment was seen here in town. The staff made me comfortable and well cared for. If we don't use our local resources we will loose them. They can't advocate for needed equipment. I was impressed with being able to get me in for xray and ultrasound within the same week, was not an urgent matter. Went from xray to the ultrasound no waiting between. My doctor in Calgary commented on how impressed she was with report at my follow-up appointment. It's nice to have these services in town and not driving to Calgary.
Called to make an appointment and it says they are currently closed however it also says they are open Monday through Friday 8:30 AM….. disappointed in their service!!
