AVOID! I lived in an apartment through FrontDoor STL for two years and I would recommend anyone to avoid this company. While their apartments look nice at first glance, they are cheap, low-quality apartments and fixtures. The leasing company and its employees consistently avoid phone calls, are rude, and non-responsive. When moving out, they do not return security deposits even when the apartment is left clean and in a better state than when I moved in (and thus tenets often must go to small claims court in order to recoup ... read more

I have had an awesome experience with Front Door. They have been incredibly helpful and really, very kind. I decided that I needed to move back home, and I looked for a subleasor. After some very unfortunate happenings, I was left hanging by the man who was supposed to take over my lease. The management worked very hard to help me find someone new, and actually found someone for me. Front Door offers living right off SLU's campus which is great because options next to campus are very limited. Most of my friends (myself included) have lived with Front Door as upperclassmen. I even just signed for another year with them. The new office location in The Grove is easy to get to and always fully staffed. I've never had to wait to talk to someone at the office with is very efficient and allows for dealing with questions and paying rent easy.
Front Door STL is truly an amazing place to live. My friends and I signed our lease last year (renewed lease for another year) and to this day, I have had zero complaints with them. Whenever I need to make a maintenance request, it is always addressed in a timely fashion. I live in the Theresa Park Lofts and it is wonderful how they took an old school and transformed it into a modern living space for all sorts.
