We drive by Front Range on a daily basis and see their work on corner of the road. The concrete back steps of our house are treacherous, so we decided to have Front Range create and install custom stair rails. I gave a rough sketch of a design element that matches our front door. The worst. Handrail was damaged before install- we discussed it and the installer said it would "wipe off". After installing, they were not able to wipe off the scratch. They refused to call it a scratch, just a mark that they couldn't remove. Lol. Then, they blamed it on me and said it's because of the coating I chose. Then, I called the owner and she said if I don't pay her in full immediately she would put a lien on my house or pull all the railings out of the wall. They made a perfect Beautiful Metal piece for the Nooner family and Address piece!!!! They do Amazing Metal Art !!!!
It was lack of attention to installation that bothered me. Pilot holes were NOT drilled in the wood steps, which resulted in the wood splitting when the screws were placed. There was a noticeable gap between railings due to “metal chips” that was not addressed until I pointed it out, otherwise it would have not been fixed. The corner, where two railings meet, is not square. Unfortunately, this corner can not be fixed without rebuilding the entire top rail of the piece. Sorry, but it could have been done better. Dale
