You can get almost everything on the menu gluten free. Not a huge menu but they're good at what they have like the fish and chips. I always like the chicken tenders and the hom made fries are amazing. The server is amazingly friendly and has great personality. Very inviting and cozy.
Have eaten here a few times now. The food is consistent. The fish and chips are very good the scotch egg as well. The issues I have is the cottage pie and bangers and mash. The cottage pie taste like canned beef stew and plain mash potatoes. There I'd nothing special and the bangers either. These are two dishes that you can't find in other places that could be a stand out dish for this place. Across the Pond is still a nice place to eat im just let down by the two dishes that are British classics
Ordered sampler, cottage pie, fish and chips, everything was greasy, the fish didnt really hold up well with delivery batter was soggy. Cottage pie tasted a bit like some sloppy joes with some mashed potatoes on top, flavors didn't really go well together seems like bunch of stuff just thrown together. For price I expected better. Seems like this is really just bad bar food and not an actual restaurant.
