Make sure if you sign a proposal and things are changed that,you get another proposal to sign with changes and prices.This was the worst experience ever. There was definitely miscommunication during the whole process that in the end costs us more than the intial proposal that was signed and still have a problem we will have to deal with. I will never deal with froggy bottom again, which we were going to need sod grass but will now go elsewhere. I must say I deal with the public alot and when you deal with caring, knowledgeable, customer friendly, and thorough individuals, it’s a PLUS! We have been shopping with this store for the past 4 weeks from river rocks to super soil to pine needle and the front staff has been awesome but the loaders have been superb!! We have been hauling rocks and soil in the back of our Chevy truck that has rims and was Leary that the truck would get scratched, but it didn’t! This morning I got wind that Froggy Bottom was expanding to include a nursery. My weekend to do list immediately got changed. Following the long journey from Downtown Montgomery (it’s less than 20 miles), my plant loving soul was blown away by the staff and nursery. When I was welcomed within moments of walking up, and surveying the colors peaking from every corner. I fully anticipated to see high price tags…. I was completely wrong. They’re going downhill fast. I made two trips to purchase the ferns they had advertised for $10. I was able to snag two less than helpful, curt (a point shy of rude), employees who told me they were out of the ferns they were advertising for a two day grand reopening event. This, plus their attitude, reeks of “bait and switch.” So much for shopping local.
