It is important to avoid the use of the name Christian Yoga as it may mislead people into thinking that it is a religious practice. Additionally, naming a yoga center Shakti Yoga and then promoting it as Christian Yoga is misleading. The name Shakti comes from Hindu culture, and the poses associated with it have their origins in the same culture. It is crucial to respect the culture and the original source of the yoga practice. If there is a lack of understanding of its purpose, it is best not to teach it to others.
Kate brings so much value, whether blogging or teaching class her mind is always with the Lord. She shares this with us in such a beautiful way, I pray her mission continues to grow and impact believers for years to come!
