Peaceful place with history of the Big Bear and the Frog Lake massacre. It's amazing to think this historic event involved 2 provinces!

An major ignition point of the 1885 Northwest Rebellion leading up to the NWMP march west and the Battle of Battoche- well explained in the displays on the hiking trail. Worth the stop.
