super friendly staff I like the vibe here. It's a shop that people hang out at and kick it with their friends. I bought a wetsuit here and the staff was very helpful. The wetsuit prices were affordable.
Great Selection We were referred to the Frog House to buy a wet suit and I am so happy we were. They have the best selection and the most helpful employees. It is a great shop!
Good Surf Board Selection But Small The Frog House has a pretty good selection of boards and accessories, but isn't a big shop. The prices are pretty high too, at least they aren't as competitive as some of the other surrounding surf shops. The staff is great, but it's not as reliable and vast as some of the other shops. I'm a bigger fan if I can go in get clothes and surf equipment all together. It's worth a look around, especially if you're an avid surfer and not just a tourist.
Good Shop, --Not So Sometimes. Today: Oct 10, 2008 Currently FrogHouse has 2007 wetsuits with the 2008 prices on them on the racks. The promo booklets are 2007 and their prices reflect the 2008 price increase of $10 or so dollars. I ended up buying a Oneill Heat 2007 for a 2008 price. Got it home, investigated, read the 2007 copyright promo book, compared it to Main St Shops...HSS had the 2008 suits and promo books. Went back to Froghouse and got my money back. I should have received 30% off on that suit. Beware and look clo... read more
The Best There Is Bar none, the best surf shop around. TK and the rest of the guys that work there are informed, friendly, and dedicated. Skip all the other big name shops in HB and Newport and come here first.
This place is so classic. I love to stop by here all the time the guys are always up to something. They actually usually have some really great deals on wetsuits. This is one of the last real surf shops on the planet. Last week when I was in there the guys actually had just put out a house fire from one of the neighbors. Crazy stuff is always going on.
