My wife and I stayed for a three night weekend this past weekend. I think this is the fourth time we stayed at Frog Holler but this was the first time we stayed in the Deer Run cabin. Deer Run is now our favorite one. It seems to be a little smaller than the others but it is even more private and we loved sitting by the stream behind the cabin in the afternoon. The cabins are clean and well maintained and of course the hot tub is wonderful to soak in.
We love frog hollar, we usually visit here on our anniversary. It is only a little more than a hour from our home . I cannot say enough , we love everything especially the cabins & privacy. In addition we love the hottubs on a private back porch listening to the river . Soooo peaceful
My wife and I had the most relaxing stay this weekend. The cabins are tucked away and super private, but still close to everything in Elkin. Listening to the creek from the hot tub was the highlight of our trip. Highly recommend for a couples’ getaway! Tip: If you’re a wine lover, it’s a great place to stay for a wine vacation. Some wineries rival those of Napa Valley (without the airfare ).
