worst experience ever. first the guy who checked me in went on his phone before taking my vitals and told me to wait and then kept burping in my face. I went back in the waiting room and was bawling my eyes out from the pain and they just started at me not asking if I needed anything and then once I get a room I wait 5 hours for results and I STILL don’t have them. Nurse was unconcerned with my pain. Severe throat pain, not improving with meds at home, so went to er. Constant severe pain, Couldn’t swallow without excruciating pain. Doc barely examined me. Looked in my mouth. No ear check, didn’t listen to lungs, didn’t check lymph nodes. They gave me a treatment and didn’t even check to see if it worked. I’ve never been more impressed with an ER than I was with West Bend. I’m used to ER’s in Wauwatosa and Milwaukee where you wait forever and get poor service. West Bend was amazing. We didn’t wait for anything. X-rays, ekg, Iv, etc.. all done right away with little to no wait. The staff was incredibly nice and they even had a bathroom in the room. I’d give it 6 stars if I could. Thank you WB doctors and nurses, you were all very kind and compassionate
Emergency room visit with transfer to "monitoring" unit? Nursed and physicians get 5 stars! Conversation upbeat and eliminated anxiety.
