Scheduling communication issue causing me to have to quickly reschedule with a male doctor last minute.
My first Pap exam here was extremely painful and mishandled. I kept telling them that the exam was hurting, but instead of adjusting anything, they only told me to breathe in and out even though I was already relaxed and doing that. They also did not size down the speculum, which clearly would have helped, and they did not check in with me to make sure I was comfortable before continuing. A student was brought into the room and stayed for the entire visit, but I was never asked if I consented to having a student present duri... read more
