This 150 year old lodge is quaint, lots of character and great location (perhaps the best in town!). The storage room for bikes and skis was well kept and secure.The highly touted happy hour and breakfast were disappointing. There was pink mold on the lining of the shower curtain near the bottom, the handle on the shower faucet fell apart both times I used the shower. Such a pleasant stay! The rooms are very neat and clean, with a charming old-fashioned interior that still feels modern. We had a problem with our RV and needed a hotel for the night, and luckily Frisco Lodge had vacancy. The people working here are very kind and helpful — they really thought along with us about our problem and even let us use their phone to call for roadside assistance for the RV.

So historic, amazing location, outstanding service. Homemade breakfast and afternoon snacks and wine. Love the history that it remains true to. Really feel like family when you are there. We stayed in a family room at the last minute, in the main lodge. So cozy, great toiletries and excellent water pressure. We walked to trails and the marina. Already booked our trip for Wassail Days!

My husband booked a room here for our anniversary because he knows how much I love historic places. Plus, the Lodge has a fairly high rating compared to other options in the vicinity. I'll say that the location is great – it's close to all the shopping and dining options you'll need during your stay. The community room was nice as well – I really appreciated it as a space to unwind after being out for the day. The access to DVDs was also a nice thing to have. Service was mixed. The room was absolutely magical and beautifully reflected the hotel’s 1885 history. Everything was clean, charming, and full of character. The breakfast was fantastic, the location was perfect, and it was peaceful and quiet at night. The staff was incredibly friendly as well. Such a beautiful and memorable place to stay!
