Terrible management. Within 3 hours of being in my room, saw 2 cockroaches. Emailed and texted. After seeing the 2nd one i left immediately, emailed and texted again and requested refund. Heard back from someone the next day 24 hours later, saying the would give me another room. After I was already back home 5 hours away. Claimed seeing roaches is “normal around here”… not normal to see them in guest rooms… ever. Not interested in another room. Active construction going on outside the rooms. We stayed at 727 Seahorse Rd over Labor Day weekend, booked through Fripp Island Golf & Beach Resort. This was our 6th annual trip to Fripp Island. This was the most expensive place we have ever stayed, and it was terrible. I have a 3 month old infant and a 3 year old, so I tried to log/ photograph what I could. I don't have pictures of everything. We rented a golf cart and 4 bikes. Such an easy booking process, pick up process and return process. Everything looked nice and was in proper working order. We're pretty sure our cart was the slowest on the island, but we were on island time and just laughed about it when people seemed annoyed with us. According to the radar in front of the racket club, we had a max speed of 14 mph. No complaints though! We were making memories.
Sandy Feet Retreat is fabulous! The owners thought of every detail you could possibly need. The house is gorgeous and the 2 living areas are great. The entire family loved the back porch and the swinging bed! We had an exceptional time while enjoying the luxury of Sandy Feet Retreat.
Rented a golf cart here for the second year in a row on memorial day weekend. Made reservations ahead of time online and had no problems.
