We stayed the last weekend of August. The home was clean and accommodated my huge family well.
My family and I rented the swimming hole and I couldn’t be more disappointed with this place. I can’t believe that they wouldn’t do a formal walk through before renting this place out. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since 1972!!! Cobb webs visible everywhere. Bugs on the bedding. I pulled back our comforter to find rat droppings on the bed, ON THE BED WHERE THEY EXPECTED US TO SLEEP. Couldn’t be more disappointed. Upon arrival we spent a few hours cleaning spider webs throughout home and porches. Then upon settling in we found multiple roaches in the rusty rio. We bought pesticide and sprayed the entire home with guest house too. Then left the spray for next visitors. We gave a $500 deposit they kept $200 because their maintenance came when we were there and only picked up curb trash. They said we left trash in the back can. And broke a chair. I would not waste any money renting from Frio Fun! My family rented a rat infested place at the Swimming Hole. It smelled musty and the water stinks like sulfur. We got relocated THANK GOD! However, Nanette accused us of stealing a green comforter from the rat infested property. When I told her that she hung up on me and blocked me. I was unable to let her know it was at the other house on top of the washer.
