My husband is taken care of as I go almost every day to check on him. I immediately address issues that need to be changed, such as showers, etc. He is gotten up out of bed and dressed everyday and is usually smiling. He has more advanced stage Alzheimer's and is now wheelchair bound. Overall, I am basically pleased with his care. This has been the case on every mealtime visit. My Mom smells so bad and wears dirty adult wear and soiled clothes. They don't bath her, saying, "we can't force her". My Mother has Alzheimer's. She thinks she's bathed already. Doesn't anybody understand Alzheimer's? You don't ask her, you tell her it's bath day and I'll be back in 10 minutes to get you. What happened to ... read more
