The flaming red building of Friendship Restaurant is very symbolic of the Chinese Fire Breathing dragon. The multi level restaurant has been recommended by Michelin Guide in 2016 and 2017. Interiors have classy Oriental accents with dimly lit, dark wooden walls, embellished with serene Buddha figurines. The menu serves a wide variety of authentic Chinese delicacies right from egg rolls, noodles and rice varieties. They have special Dim Sum brunches on certain weekends, which are definitely not to be missed. Your affinity tow... read more

Muy buen lugar lo que mas me gusto es que los fideos son muy ricos y hay gran variedad en el menú
Fantastic place for Chinese – I feel compelled to mention that I work for Citysearch. Although my opinion my may have a small bias, I have been to many Chicago Chinese restaurants. I live in Logan Square, so it's nice to have Friendship so close. My family and I have eaten at Friendship several times and we have never been disappointed. The food is fantastic and the place is beautiful inside. Whenever my wife and I want great Chinese, this is where we both like to go. It is a little pricier than a few other Chinese restauran... read more
Food isn't as good as much cheaper places AND you don't get what you paid for anyway. – What a bummer! I ordered from Friendship for the first time in over a year after seeing it on Check Please! and hoped they were better. I was wrong. The food is just not that good, even for Chinese delivery, which I think everyone orders when craving but with a grain of salt...nobody expects A+ chow but for A+++++ prices, I expected more from Friendship. Beyond the "eh" food, we received only 2 of the 4 veggie rolls we ordered. Not a big ... read more
TERRIBLE PLACE – service was horrible because we never knew who our server was. In addition, the staff was seated at a table and were all eating at the same time well after we placed our order. the food was very bland and no taste. This place is also over priced and offer no free refills. I couldn't believe that out of five different people I interacted with not one asked how everything was. You've been warned.
Best Chinese Food in Chicago! – I have been to other Chinese restaurants that are very good but Friendship is truly the best. Although the delivery takes some time, it is worth the wait. All chicken dishes are delicious. The chicken isn't gross, and I have yet to bite into a piece that is awful. If I moved out of the delivery zone, I would probably find a way to get there because it is so good.
Friendship is a neighborhood Chinese place with a chef (Alan) who wants it to be more, and for the most part he succeeds. The dining room is beautifully appointed, the sauces are house-made and as French as they are Chinese. Many contain Grand Marnier, Champagne or bourbon. There's also a brisk carry-out business, but it's handled in the front, away from the dining room where you're never aware of it.
unique style, off the beaten path – it's nice to have such an unusual place so near my home in logan square. the champagne lemon chicken is just the right balance of flavors and textures. The soups are good too but i was a bit distressed at the use of artificial crabmeat in the hot and sour and crab and corn soups. Really an odd choice for a restaurant that in most other ways is above average. If you're giving me seafood, then really give it to me, otherwise I'd rather have the pork. I'm definitely going back to try other th... read more
Inexpensive Chinese restaurant serving dim sum and traditional dishes with interesting twists. – In Short A bright Asian facade gives way to a low-lit, elegant interior with blond wood floors. Ever-so-slightly upscale, this French-influenced Chinese spot in Logan Square dishes up affordable mainstays like kung pao chicken and crab rangoon as well as champagne lemon chicken and grilled Hong Kong steak--served in a potato shell--to a neighborhood crowd.
customer – some of the most original chinese style dishes we've ever had. The duck and Hong Kong steak are excellent. The only chinese restaurant with good deserts.
