The only ambulance in our township is “out of network,” even though we are tax paying citizens. Slow assistance that came with a 2,000 dollar price tag. My mom has great insurance and we have had to call an ambulance in NJ and it cost us 75 dollars! How does an out of state ambulance cost 75 dollars, but the only ambulance in our area costs 2K. We live in Royersford, they are considered “out of network” for our insurance. My mom has great insurance and Is a tax payer, and her short ambulance ride after having a seizure due to her brain cancer charged us almost 2 thousand dollars. (EMTs were not friendly and slow, not worth this high price tag). When trying to dispute between Friendship and the insurance company we were sent to collections who are calling us every day. Captain Hannah and her team are amazing!!!
My mother had a medical emergency on June 15 while we were visiting from out of town. Roger and the other EMT who responded were incredibly kind and compassionate to my mom and to our family. I can't say enough about the care they showed that night.
