When I went there, I was playing New Super Mario Bros for my Nintendo DSi XL, and I would always play it with Luigi instead of Mario! To get Luigi, at the start screen, just click Mario Game Adventure, find an empty file then press R & L buttons and then press the A button and you'll hear: "LUIGI!"
