In the past I haven't eaten at Friends And Family very often. Today was the first time a buddy and I ate there since the fire. I was very excited and thrilled to see it return. *The Restaurant is very appealing. The great room has a nice sort-of, what I would call, a "country industrial" ascetic. Food and service was good along with the atmosphere. Good price for the amount of food that was provided. If visiting from out of the county or area, definitely check it out!
25 minutes before the waitress took our order. Another 25 minutes before it showed up. Paid $16 for a very small portion of grilled chicken breast along with beets and collard greens out of a can. My wife had an omelette that was nothing to brag about. Add another 10 minutes waiting at the counter to pay for it. There were people standing and waiting to be seated while we were waiting to pay.
