[Update] owner offered a refund and apologized for the miscommunication. I originally wrote the review out of frustration with the situation, but cant hold it against them since sometimes shit happens. Big respect to the owner on how he responded and owned up to my experience. ——— To preface: I think this place is generally pretty solid. Most of the barbers do a pretty good job and there usually isn’t too long of a wait. Went here on a whim. I needed a haircut and shave and I was around the corner. I usually go to a national chain but, I wanted to try something different and local, plus I've been wanting to get a nice shave, not just with an electric razor, I'm talking straight razor. Jay delivered above and beyond on the hair style I requested and the shave. Friends barbershop is a great and clean barber shop and all of the barbers are very friendly and welcoming. All my haircuts have been great and consistent and I will continue to come back.
