Only have had take out when they opened but no complaints here. Heading out for sundaes now! YUM!
My girlfriend and I both went to this Friendly's last winter--and, it was the absolute WORST Friendly's Restaurant that we have ever visited!!! Background: both my girlfriend and I are college-educated professionals in our late-50s; and, when we were in high school and in college in the 1970s, we both worked in restaurants--so, we know a LOT more about restaurants than the average person. As someone who worked in (two) restaurants when he was in high school and in college in the 1970s, I feel uniquely qualified to evaluate Friendly's Restaurant in Lawrence. It was okay, my kids choose it. And service was just okay. Plenty of other choices are better in the area.
On a recent visit to the Orlando area and Walt Disney World, my family and I were advised that the wait for a table would be ten minutes. This was despite a near empty restaurant and an even emptier parking lot. Ten minutes became 15 minutes, then 20 minutes. At that point, we were advised by the female hostess that only two servers were working and the wait would be at least another 10 minutes. Excellent place to eat love the price
Overall decent place to eat with good food. Wish they would have a few more specialty meals but still good.
We really enjoy the half price breakfast menu. Good selection. They have a $5.55 special menu where the portions are slightly smaller (just right) Decent food, but the servers tend to disappear when you need them, or they chat too much and don't pay attention.
Tonight my family visited Friendlys in Greenfield, MA. I was extremely disappointed not only with the service, the waiter and food and drink. I am not one to complain but this was horrible. We ordered coffee, what was brought to use was a blackish water and tasted like coffee pot cleaner. It was not coffee. We were brought 2 new cups and it was cold and tasted bad.
