Lisa has been a great addition to our family for our mother who is ageing in place. She is friendly, easy-going and reliable and has lots of great ideas to help entertain her. She also doesn’t let a language barrier stop her from communicating to the best of her ability to support her needs. We highly recommend Lisa as a companion for a family member in need. Pictured are Lisa (on left) with our mother out for a little stroll by the water!

I'm posting for Patsy Lanigan. In her own words: Hello Our family would like to thank Lisa for her help caring for our parents. Lisa is kind, caring and knows how to navigate the life that has been touched with Alzheimer's disease. As a care giver, help was given in many ways, from meal prep, personnel care and initiating activities of daily living. I highly recommend Lisa from Friendly Neighbour Senior Services as a care companion. My dear mum’s dementia caused behavioural challenges and anxiety which made it difficult to leave her with just anyone; however, Lisa was able to distract and keep my mum amused and comfortable while I did errands or escaped for a few hours of respite. Lisa’s patience, calm and cheery manner, and her interest in my mum’s needs and likes/dislikes, meant I could be away without any concerns as to what may be happening at home.
