I went in for an oil change and transmission fluid change… They told me I needed front brakes and rotors and rear brakes and rotors. They wanted $1600 for the work. I told them I would get a second opinion. So I did just that… turns out I didn’t need pads and rotors on at all.. In fact they weren’t even close to what the threshold is on the pads. My pads where 8-9/32’s the threshold is 3/32… I could easily get 20,000 more miles on the brakes I currently have… They are ripping people off. Luckily I had another mechanic to giv... read more
