Honest and Reliable – I really appreciate having a mechanic that I can rely on! The guys here are straightforward and down-to-business, and I have substantial peace of mind knowing that they are trustworthy. If there's a problem (it's only happened once), I know that Derek will work with me to make it right. The key words here are RELIABLE and FAIR. Great workmanship, great about getting my car back to me if I need it by a certain date/time, and great about taking the time to explain what's what.
Wonderful service! – I've been using FAST since moving to Raleigh in 2003, and keep going back. The mechanics and staff are kind, friendly, and go out of their way to make sure that I understand what they're doing to my car. I can trust that they're doing good work, they treat me fair, and I never hesitate to recommend them to friends. They're the only place I trust!
Finally! A mechanic you can trust! – We have been using FAST for ten years. They are the only mechanics I trust. They always explain things well, the day I drop my car off. Then they repair it and I have never had to return my car because their work was not satisfactory. If I did I have no doubt that they would fix it. GREAT SERVICE – great service and they kept me up todate on the progress of my car love this shop will not take my car to another place
Jobs never done right – I used to live close to this shop so I used them several times. Each job I had done there required that I come back because of problems. To their credit they always made it right. The last job was a rebuilt transmission that didn't work right and after bringing back 3 times I finally had to quit and I used the car for work. After a year I had to stop driving it as it became dangerous. It would buck in reverse terrible. Finally sold it for half of what it cost for the rebuilt tranny. A total waste of m... read more
Horrid Service and Communication! – I would rate this facility as a zero, but the minimum is one star. I was never called or updated on my vehicle. They tried to tack on extra fees for random parts not related to my car and could not match the price given at a different facility as the promised. Overall, very poorly run facility. I have worked in the automotive service industry for years and this level of professionalism is appalling. Avoid at all costs.

Mr. Hodges was upset because the transmission he ordered off ebay arrived almost three months after he placed the order and had our shop remove his old unit. He also failed to mention the extra part was a fuel pump and battery which were bad because the vehicle had been parked almost a year. A storage fee and lein paper work were also filed because Mr. Hodges failed to communicate with us for over three weeks after removing the transmission an update us on the status of the part.
