It might be good quality for how it's made, I dont know, but I was purchasing it for it's quietness. I checked DB ranges and Friedrich is one of the top recommendations, but I dont find it any quieter than the GE AC I've had. Also, the remote control is not very good - I have to push the same button a few times for it to turn on or off.
The unit i bought was only 2 years old when the motor fan went out and this company does not stand behind their product line. The one I bought is all in one unit air conditioner and heater. It only warranty is for one year it should be the same as the air compressor which is 5 years the new motor is $600 +shipping and another $200 to install it. The unit wasn't cheap is was recommended by Grainger in near by town. Which now I have a hard time trusting them as well. My local air conditioning even contacted the head office. Ju... read more
