Simply the best and most authentic Chinese restaurant in College Station.
My kids told me I needed to leave a 10 star review. The girls raved about everything from the yummy food to how delicious the water was to how nice our server was to give them a lesson on using chop sticks. He even came encouragingly back by when he saw one of them had gotten discouraged. They both were so happy! We are so glad we followed our noses after church and tried out this gem. They were talking excitedly about who all else they want to bring here to eat.
Wow, just wow. I am originally from Houston and typically would have to go to Houston to get real Chinese flavor. This restaurant is the closest thing to authentic taste I have been able to find. Especially when it comes to dry pot and the spicy crispy chicken. The fish with pickled vegetables, mapo-tofu absolutely bomb. Minced pork with pickled beans, you can tell everything is very fresh and hand prepared as soon as you taste it. They do menu updates from time to time and add new featured items which are all phenomenal!
By far the best Chinese food spot in town. I would highly recommend the mala dry pot (perfect for 2-3 people to share) as well as the braised pork. The service is quite attentive and the atmosphere is peaceful.
