My nightmare started in Simonmed where I was supposed to have a pelvic wall mri and a dephecography. After 4 hours of waiting and being ordered 2 enemas and fasting, they didn't know what they were doing. So I came to Advent Health Lake Nona a little apprehensive but my experience was a great one. For any woman, it is terrifying to hear that your mammogram came back with a mass. I got this information following my results 2 weeks ago. I scheduled with the first available appointment with Advent health Imaging in Lake Nona. Two days before my appointment I am told it was scheduled incorrectly and needed to be rescheduled 13 days out! The person I’m speaking to can only see one location. *****Update 08/22/2025 - just saw Jennifer for an ultrasound. She was so compassionate and knowledgeable. I appreciate the time she took to explain things. ---------------------------------------------------------------- I had a Diagnostic Mammogram and Ultrasound. Suzanne and Christina were so lovely. I was brought back right away. Suzanne and Christina were both compassionate, caring, and professional. Very lucky to have these health care professionals in my corner.
I went in for a Dexa scan and mammogram. Upon entering I was greeted with a warm smile from the helpful receptionist, Shayla who was very efficient. I had a very short wait and had an excellent Dexa technician, Brittany who thoroughly answered my many questions, and it was obvious she was knowledgeable and happy to explain.
