FRG Contractor installed our roof and gutters and continues to handle snow removal for our business. Their communication is excellent, always prompt and reliable. They get the job done fast and do it right. It is hard to find contractors this dependable. No better contractor in Boston.
Their drivers are going to cause an accident on Washington Street one day. If they drive this way, why would you trust them with anything that you own?
I would not recommend to hire FRG to do your roof!!! In summer 2023 FRG came to redo the roof drain cap which was never installed properly at the first place by them back in Feb 2019. The roof has leaked every year since then and had 3-4 repairs. In April 2024, the roof drain clogged again(we have no trees around). The roof rain water seeped through under the roof drain compression ring, then flew down to the outside the drain pipe directly into the first floor bathroom wall and the basement floor. As a repeat customer I’m pleased to find that the same attention to detail and customer friendly workforce, years later, is still the mode of operation for the FRG team, from start of the job to the end. The project was our first full house painting with FRG and we couldn’t be more satisfied. It’s definitely clear that client satisfaction is high on the list and we are appreciative of the process and results.
Frg was an excellent contractor for the historical restoration of the Upton Center schoolhouse built circa 1850, now the Upton Grange. New roofing including removal of a 100 year old rotating ventilator, new roof deck sheathing, flashing and repointing the chimney. Repairs and replacement of sills damaged by termites and ants. Restoration of 15% of the cedar clipboards. Replacement of historic crown moldings at the eaves and soffit. Reconstruction of corner plasters and moldings.
