The owner, Sarah Thompson, is exceptional! After meeting me and discussing my color needs, she worked her magic and concocted the perfect formula that covers my grays and looks more natural than my colored hair ever has! Not only is she amazing at cut, color, and running the whole salon, she has a way of making you feel like you have been her friend for a long time.
I highly highly recommend Freyja salon. I’ve been going to Sarah for at least a year or so now and I always leave feeling absolutely fabulous. She’s a true master at her craft! I sometimes have a hard time expressing what I’m looking for and she always nails it spot on.
Sarah is the only stylist I've ever gone to in Chicago- because she's the only one I ever needed! I'm very unimaginative when it comes to my hair, but Sarah always makes a cut and style feel fun and special. The new website is super simple and lets me look at future availability so I can plan my schedule accordingly. Overall, I can't say enough good things about the appointments themselves and Sarah as a person. I find her service to be both luxurious and honorable!

Sarah has been cutting my hair for years and is THE BEST! What she can do with my curls is absolute magic, she has really unique techniques that enhance my natural curl so well. I get so many compliments on my hair. The salon is also very cute and she uses the best smelling davines products. They smell like heaven!
