This review is long overdue. Dr. Freya Silverstein and her team are nothing but exceptional. She is definitely an extraordinary physician who is truly knowledgeable, professional, great bedside manner, trustworthy, spends time to explain results/medications/etc. Takes time with her patients. I highly recommend Dr. Silverstein if you are looking for a nephrologist.
From initial referral to her office everyone was wonderful and patient. Hats off to Vanessa, Bri and Dr Silverstein great experience.
I had only two telehealth appointments with this doctor. I was never seen by her. She had me give blood for a test with no conversation about what it would cost. Her office did not do a preapproval through my insurance company. Had no idea I would receive a $7,750 bill from that lab. No prior estimate or conversation of cost and now no follow up with my insurance company to forward my medical records to try to get it preapproved. They have sent 5 faxes and called requesting them. Dr. Freya Silverstein.is an excellent nephrologist. I met her a few weeks after I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma when I was informed I was with Renal failure. She is understanding, professional, compassionate and such an expert in her practice. My condition was very unhealthy to the point where renal dialysis was questioned. With her expert care I am no longer a stage 4 renal failure. Thank you so much Dr. Freya and may God bless you. Joy Morrison Sembrano
