The food was good. Rather surprised that no bread was served with my pasta dish. The table top was sticky. I asked the waitress to clean it. She did, anf it was still sticky. I asked her to report this you her manager. She said we could move to another table... just as sticky.
I’m a sucker for good bar food and beer. This food is from a scratch kitchen so it’s simple good ingredients with a twist of great flavor. I absolutely love the layout. It feels open and spacious with tall ceilings and the brick make it feel cozy. The staff was so warm and welcoming. I’ll be back :) 💕 We did split the burger just for reference.
The beer cheese starter with pretzels was amazing! I also got the Alfredo. The tomatoes were fresh and the sauce was creamy and flavorful. The burger we got was cooked perfectly and the sweet potato fries were crispy. This is definitely a new staple spot for me!
I have been here a lot, and I do like this place. The staff is excellent and the vibes here are fantastic. Especially the rooftop in the summer. The only issue I have is that both the food and beer menu is fairly small, and I am pretty sure it has not changed for years. It would be nice if they would try new things from time to time.
I finally was able to talk my husband into trying Fretboard this past Saturday. I had been several times and enjoyed the food and service. We were seated right away and waitress came to take our order. We ordered 2 diet cokes and were brought them right away. My husband finished his drink before waitress came back to take our order.
