So happy with FVH After moving back to Enfield from VT I had to find a vet for my 2 dogs. I had one in Suffield who was not only extremely expensive, they seriously dropped thew ball a few times so I looked for another one. I found FVH and thought I'd try them and was so happy with Dr. Bell. Not only was I pleased that he rarely liked prescribing prednizone which can be harmful to dogs but he also didn't try to "sell" me medication that I could clearly get far cheaper at a pharmacy or Costco and wrote everything all out that... read more
inflexible I'm not usually a complainer but I had a very bad experience at FVH today. So much so that I felt the impulse to write this negative review. I arrived at my appointment today approximately 13 minutes late for vaccinations for my two cats. I was informed by the receptionist that I would have to reschedule because I was more than 10 minutes late. The WORST This place is the worst. Just went to get some ear ointment for my dog and Dr. Bell said that he wouldn't give me any. Within 12 hrs my dog had the most red and inflamed ear ever and I call back to see if he would give me the medicine and find out that the office is closed for a week. This place sucks and they treat animals like crap.
Highly recommend! I can't say enough good about Dr. Bell and this staff. They care for our cats and dogs, are attentive, informative, competent and extremely kind and caring. Our cat recently took a downturn, and Dr. Bell was so helpful and gave him a fighting chance. When there was no more to be done, in his last moments, the staff at Freshwater was compassionate and professional and helped us through a difficult moment.
Can Do No Better Dr. Bell and staff are tops. Patient, kind and expert with both animal and owner. Easy to get appointments with convenient hours and reasonable cost.
Great Vet! I have 2 cats and a dog. Dr. Bell kisses & plays with my dog everytime she is in. He is gentle and compassionate when giving shots or doing a check-up. My cat hates the vet and Dr. Bell handles the "violent behavior" extremely well and still seems gentle with him as well. I would definately recommend this vet.
Dr Bell Not only did he diagnose my Chihuahua's heart condition very early, but when I thought his life was over he changed his heart medications around and gave me an extra year with my beloved pet. My other dog is a biter and Dr. Bell treats him wonderfully. He even rubs his ears before he clips his toenails.
great vet and staff Dr. Bell has taken care of my animals since my sister and I moved to CT. He has always shown affection towards my big puppies When we lost our beloved Junior, They (Dr Bell and all of his staff) were very supportive! I would not have any one else take care of the needs of my animals.
world class We used Freshwater Vet for many years. We are true dog lovers and they took care of our dogs as we would have, with love. Candace and Jerry are wonderful people.
