I had an 11am telehealth appointment with Dr. John Newton. Didn't hear anything from him by the time I took my lunch break at 1pm. I called and complained to the receptionist only to be told that Dr. John Newton is always late and that I should book with other doctors if I want someone more punctual (at least I appreciate her honesty. Dr John Newton should be barred from practise, his direct negligence partially disabled me for life, with chronic tinnitus it has taken years to manage, and slight hearing damage (I was mid-20s at the time and a touring musician). I saw that my initial glowing review of the practise and John was still up on Google and I had to set the record straight. He ruined my career and my life for several years after this event, for the sake of a few extra dollars (given that his practice only had facility to provide the WRONG procedur... read more

I am surprised that I enjoyed the consultation with Dr John Newton with my 5 years old son. He was friendly and patient, willing to listen to our requests and problems. Although it is bulk billing for my kid, I didn’t feel like I was pushed to finish with the consultation within 5 mins which was what I experienced in other clinics when gap fee was paid.
