Really disappointing in the response from this place. 5 mins before our check in time we got a message to say they didn't have the room ready. I responded with saying yes, that was disappointing. Next minute he phones me and basically just tells us he is cancelling our booking! We were waiting outside. Busy time to find another hotel and we had come off an overnight flight so just wanted to get some rest. We had a positive experience with Scott and the Freshwater BnB team. We got upgraded to their sister property, 549 Apartments, which was right on the Esplanade in Hervey Bay. Our stay got cut short due to Cyclone Alfred, but Scott and his team worked with us politely and professionally. Would absolutely stay with them in the future.
Absolutely lovely stay. Great room, clean, lovely breakfast. The only thing I didn’t like was that they said: leave the ac on even when you’re not home we need to fight climate change together and this is just a waste. plus it’s totally unnecessary as the room will be cold within a few seconds after turning on the ac as it’s very good.
Just Devine. Breakfast and lounge is must
